Knik, Alaska - Longest Dog Sled Rope This is a record breaking dog sled rope used back in 1976. They attached 200 dogs to pull something with it. Directions: Along the Knik-Goose Bay Road just before the Point Mackensie turn off. There is a pull off spot with history signs just before side road that goes down to the museum.
