Pickled Heart of the Miracle Man of Montreal
Brother Andre Bessette died in 1937 after years of unscientifically healing people. Known as the "Miracle Man of Montreal," his heart was cut from his body and put on display in a jar, where it remains today.

- South side of downtown, inside the hilltop Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount-Royal. Take Hwy 15 exit 66. Drive north for several blocks on Chemin Queen Mary (Queen Mary Rd), past a series of identical multi-story buildings on the right. Immediately after they end, turn right onto Cedar Crescent, then take the first left which leads up to the Oratory. "The Heart of Brother Andre" is displayed on the west side of the building, part of a small museum about Brother Andre's life.
