White Horse Statue
The tower is extremely tall and the horse on top is extremely large. The horse has to be 40 to 50 feet long. It looks like it rotated at one time because it moves a little in the wind. It is hard to miss when riding down the White Horse Pike. It is amazing that it is still standing and has not been blown down in a windstorm, as tall and old as it is. Shows good workmanship. I look forward to seeing it every time I pass it.

Having grown up in Barrington, I know that this horse statue was used to advertise the White Horse Pike Drive-In Theater, later torn down to make room for shopping. I also think that technically, it is in Lawnside, which was a stop on the Underground Railroad.

Along Route 30 (The White Horse Pike), plopped smack in the center of an outdoor shopping center's gigantic parking lot, the White Horse stands high on its pedestal.
