Visitor Tips and News About Standin' on the Corner Park
From the Eagles song "Take it Easy," Winslow has a corner decorated to fit the lyrics. There's an actual flatbed Ford pickup, with a mannequin inside, and an adjacent gift shop has Route 66 memorabilia... and blares Eagles (and Don Henley, and Glenn Frey) music from a loudspeaker.[Greg Loper, 07/18/2014]
Stayed at "Earl's Motor Court" and saw the statue. Beautiful tribute....sketchy town.[Kellie Sandefur, 06/27/2014]
Peaceful, Easy Feelin!! Small, but really well done. The folks in the gift shop were kind and gracious. The real Ford flatbed pickup was a bonus. Worth a stop, although we wish the ice cream store on the corner was open.[P. Hughes, 06/15/2014]
