Giant Old Salt Fisherman Worth a drive around the bay to see this guy! Make sure you stop in the restaurant, you won't be disappointed! [Amanda, 02/02/2013]I grew up in Boothbay, and thought you might like to know "the secret of the fisherman." The locals know that his left thumb is positioned in such a way that, when you see his bold profile from the street side, the thumb looks like -- well, something else that Maine seamen are noted for.
