Suspension Bridge There is an old suspension bridge at the corner of Spruce & Front street. Just a few miles north of downtown. It crosses over a gorgeous ravine (approx 70 feet) I had just recently heard about it and I don't know the North Park area too well so I just drove around semi-aimlessly. There is also a not as interesting foot bridge off of 4th which I did find by mistake first.
The bridge does sway when there are a few people walking on it - so it kind of freaked me out - but it is in good shape and sturdy so it's totally safe. The bridge is in a quiet area and I only saw 4 other people while I was there. [cj, 01/04/2009]
