Houston, Texas - 170-Ft. Tall Cross The new 170-foot tall Sagemont Church Cross in southern Houston, TX at Sagemont Church. Not the largest ever, but the largest in Houston for sure! [Lauren, 03/01/2009][RA: This gargantuan Christian cross is one of three going up around Houston that are freaking out urban heathens. Another church, Grace Community church, is bankrolling two slightly smaller but more elaborate crosses elsewhere around Houston, along I-45. They all light up at night -- vampires beware!]
