Shoe Tree

There was a very full shoe tree located at milepost 53 on Hwy. 97 just north of Shaniko, Or. Someone recently burned the tree down. We are so very sad. It was a great attraction and very full of all kinds of shoes.

Shoe Tree

There is a great shoe tree at milepost 53 just 3-4 miles north of Shaniko, Oregon on Hwy. 97. Shaniko is Oregon's most famous ghost town. There is one large tree with many, many pairs of shoes. Then there are two smaller trees that people have hung flip-flops and other articles of clothing on.
