Manhattan's Hollywood-style Letters

As you drive into Manhattan, Kansas, one of the first things you may notice is Manhattan spelled out on the top of a hill, almost like the Hollywood sign. It was originally put there by Kansas State University, and you can actually go to the top and walk around or sit on those letters. Shortly after you pass by the hill, take the first road on your right, and then the next road on your right, and it will take you to the top. There is also a nature trail just to the side of it that leads down the hill, but I don't know where the bottom is. [Danielle, 03/24/2009]
