St. Marys, Georgia - Submarine on Land

There's a submarine coming out of the ground in front of the Kings Bay Naval Base in St. Marys Georgia. We were visiting friends and couldn't help but stop to get some pictures of the kids on the sub.

Day or Night - there are lights. Its outside the base so open to the public. [Merrilee, 03/24/2009]

[RA: The sub is the USS George Bancroft. There's also a Submarine Museum off base, at 102 St. Marys St. West.]
