56th Fighter Group Restaurant

They have a restaurant that looks like a bomb shelter with sand bags, etc. There are old fighter jets outside, Republic Airport behind it, and a party room with no roof because it's supposed to be a bombed-out room. The restaurant inside is like a museum.

Phyllis Herring points out: "The 56th fighter group wound up being the only WW II FG to fly Republic's P-47 Thunderbolt for the entire war. Hence the resturant's name and its proximity to Republic Airport."
