Victorian Mansion - Themed Rooms Originally built in 1864, the Victorian Mansion is a small, one-of-a-kind themed bed and breakfast in the heart of the Santa Barbara wine country. And when I say themed, I don't mean a room with varying styles of Victorian decor, I mean an immersive experience covering all the senses (sight, sound, and scent). Over 200 expert craftsmen, artisans, and artists spent almost 10 years creating the 6 theme suites inside, each with hot tub and fireplace. Hidden bathrooms, spiral staircases, a cannon coffee table, an Egyptian sarcophagus, a chariot, and a 1956 Cadillac convertible are just a few of the curiosities you'll find inside.
The Victorian Mansion was selected as one of France's "Le Guide Du Routard's" 'must sees' in California and one of the National Geographic Traveler's "Quirky Hotels Around the Country."

Victorian Mansion - Hotel Theme Rooms I stayed in the 50's room which was wonderful. They turned a Cadillac convertible into a bed and put a big screen projector in front of car. Watching movies was like being at the drive in! Many other nice features in the room.
Their website is www.thevick.com and it has pictures of the rooms. [Mike, 01/28/2010]
