Columbia, South Carolina - Frank 'N Steins

There used to be a Frank N Stein's in Columbia near one of the bridges to West Columbia. My grandmother was a waitress there and I remember the wonderful frozen steins of root beer.

I don't recall that it was in business much time at all, but I was a child and my recollection is shaky at best. I remember it was great fun for a youngster. [Rachel Jacobs, 05/09/2009]

There used to be a Frank 'n' Steins in Columbia, South Carolina at least into the '70s. I remember seeing the big Frankenstein as a kid but my parents never stopped there. I think they had a branch in a mall food court in Columbia as well. I don't remember seeing it the last few times I went through Columbia so I assume it is long gone. [Dennis Matheson, 11/09/1998]
