Houston, Texas: Eclectic Menagerie Park: Metal Sculptures
Over two dozen big sculptures include an armadillo, hippo, dinosaurs, King Kong, VW spider, and a giant fishing rod reeling in a pickup truck. They're made of scrap metal from Texas Pipe and Supply, which owns the land. Pipe welder Ron Lee makes most of them.

- South side of the city. From W. Bellfort Ave. turn south at the stoplight onto the entry ramp onto southbound Hwy 288/South Fwy. You'll see the sculptures on the right, and there's a wide shoulder where you can park.
