Visitors must take a special bus through the "acoustical buffer zone" to get to the Stennisphere, which is part of the Stennis Space Center, which is NASA's primary facility for rocket propulsion testing. Interactive exhibits and "educational stage shows" convey the history and mission of NASA. There's an outdoor display of rocket engines, and the rebuilt office of rocketmeister Wernher von Braun, complete with his TV set.
"Land the space shuttle!" "Go aboard the International Space Station!" "Take a walk under the sea!"

The facility itself is beautiful, but there's a lot of empty space and displays that are not very impressive, nor do they really seem to stir the imagination. They definitely try to do a good job with what they have but it still falls short. There is one thing they have that is pretty cool .... it's called Science on a Sphere ..... basically it's a movie you watch on a globe. You also have the option of taking a tour at the nearby space senter, you run through on a bus with the driver giving you a narrative, and if you're quick enough you may get a few photos...... is not a complete waste of time, but you're also not going to see anything that puts you in awe and wonder.
