Graveyard in Home Depot Parking Lot
I grew up on a street near this site. In fact, when I was young the graveyard was surrounded by a field which was once used by the air force. The Home Depot, Old Navy, and parking lot came much later during the late 1980s or early 1990s. It's really sad to see a burial site treated with so little respect -- the remains interred there include some of the surrounding towns' founders.

It is most definitely an old grave yard in front of the entrance to Home Depot. Surrounded by litter, break tables and home improvement patrons, you will find amusement in the translucent existence of a burial ground.
[Michelle, 01/19/2010]It might only be translucent when you take a night photo with a hand-held phone camera...but that makes it spookier. Bodies were being interred in the Burr Cemetery until the 1880s. By the 1950s it was surrounded by a parking lot.
