President Garfield Statue Reheaded
Poor President Garfield. First he was assassinated, then someone came along and chopped off his statue's head. The head was eventually found, put back on Garfield's neck, and anchored with chop-proof steel.

Statue of President Garfield A Statue of President Garfield was presented to Hiram College where he taught. It was decapitated just after it was presented. [John M Jones, 09/22/2009][RA: Garfield's statue was beheaded in May, the head was tracked down in July, and it was reattached to Garfield's body in November 2009. The head has been embedded with a GPS tracker chip to discourage any further decapitations. The college store sells "Get a head at Hiram College" t-shirts.]
