National Construction Equipment Museum
The Historical Construction Equipment Association Museum is a collection of old equipment that has yet to be realized as a museum. Currently visitation is limited to 1 to 5 on weekdays. For the average visitor willing to make the trek, it's obviously a matter of opportunity to be able to stop by. Thomas Berry is the archivist and currently the only way to get a tour. This is why calling ahead is recommended. The collection is in one hall and the current collection is in need of more space. Many items are lovingly restored and it's obvious that much dedication has gone into the collection.
The tour takes 30 to 45 minutes. The building is insulated but does not have climate control, so dress appropriately.
