Superstition Mountain Museum
This place is a treasure trove of information about the area. It provides an in-depth explanation of its geographical history throughout the ages, if you can avoid the rather loud docent and read the displays. Also includes a cactus garden, cheesy walking trail through a "cemetery," and some replicas of ranch living in the olden days.

The Superstition Mountain Museum has plenty to see! There are exhibits about the history and geology of the area, the Lost Dutchman Mine, and the various movies that have been filmed in the area. Don't miss the Elvis Chapel.
Bonus: Lost Dutchman State Park is right up the road, with hiking trails and beautiful views of the Superstition mountains.
