A heart-shaped planting of trees in the far northwest corner of the city, near the airport, visible to aircraft. [Scott, 09/23/2000]

[RA: Heart Forest, started in 1990, is designed for appreciation from the air. It is a grove of 550 red cedars surrounded by heart-shaped bands of flowers and other trees. Annual planting day occurs each April.]

Directions: The location is not well marked but from I-435 take the NW 120th St. (D) exit and turn right, then go south 2 miles on Brightwell. It's at NW 104th & Brightwell.
