Three Bears General Store - Live Bears
Bear-viewing price is now $4, plus a small condiment cup of apple chunks and grapes. Bears are to be observed from the top floor, after which patrons descend to the bottom level and poke fruit, sometimes unsuccessfully, through plastic pipes into the bear enclosure. There are stuffed bears available for adoption at the upstairs desk (a stack of adoption certificates waits on the counter). When we visited, there were only two bears visible, along with several large cages of birds.
[Kitsa, 09/06/2022]Don't think the three bears above the door is what this store is about. Go inside -- there is so much to see. Go up to the second floor and pay to go outside There are three levels in which to see the live bears and take pictures. The bottom level is where you feed the bears. On this day, two of the bears were sunning themselves and wouldn't budge. The third bear never came out of the tunnel. They look well-cared for and relaxed in their spacious home.
