Seville was home to a married couple who were both giants. My friend lived in this town and every year the town celebrates with a yard sale. [Karol Courie, 09/20/2000]

[RA: "The Giants Of Seville" were Martin Van Buren Bates (the "Kentucky River Giant") and Anna Swan (the "Giantess of Nova Scotia"). Martin was a Rebel officer in the Civil War and stood nearly eight feet tall -- and Anna was even taller. Both are buried under a life-size statue of Anna, who died first.]
