Rustic 45th Parallel Marker

Freshly painted and can be clearly can seen next to Highway 27. There is a little driveway to pull off and park; great for a photo op. It's a better photo spot than the green highway sign on I-75.

Rustic 45th Parallel Marker

This sign is no longer as "rustic" as it appeared in the earlier photo. It looks to have been recently updated, but is still a great photo op!

Gaylord, Mi. 45th parallel marker.

[Mike, 09/20/2010]

Most highway signs celebrating the globe-girdling invisible line are standard reflective green. This resembles a 1950s eagle scout project.

Halfway Marker - 45th Parallel

There is a sign on Old 27 just south of town marking the 45th parallel. There may also be one on I-75 marking it also.
