Did you know that Hayward is the Zucchini capital of California? Every Summer they have a Zucchini Festival at Kennedy Park all devoted to that wonderful Zucchini. Patrons of the festival can eat everything from fried Zucchini to Zucchini ice-cream. The festival is so big that you have to come early in the morning to find a parking space.
