Westland, Michigan: Wooden Statue Grave Of Police K9 Zeek

Zeek joined the force in 1996 and died in 2002. Five years later, the vet who had cared for Zeek commissioned this statue, and had Zeek's ashes entombed in its base.

Directions:
I-275 exit 25. Drive east on Ford Rd for about three miles, then turn left onto Wayne Rd and drive north for a little over a mile. The statue will be on the right, directly under the sign in front of Westland Veterinary Hospital, which is a blue building just past a Pizza Hut.
