Tiny Church - Our Lady of the Pines Our Lady of the Pines has a beautiful new sign making it very easy to find. It still claims to be the smallest church in 48 states. The church also has a working outhouse, for those who dare. [Emily W., 12/08/2010]
The Smallest Church in 48 States "The Smallest Church in 48 States" is still a wonderful little place to visit. The grounds are well kept, a beautiful picnic spot or a fantastic place to have the most romatic wedding. I know - because my husband and I were married there last year. The outside photos were wonderful with all of the different blooming bushes and the water lily covered pond. We plan on going back on our anniversary and have a little picnic. The Smallest Church in the 48 States Last year I travelled to West Virginia from Pittsburgh, and just past Deep Creek, Maryland was a church named - The Smallest Church in the 48 States. I think it is just off of RT 219. [Daryl K. Kuczynski, 04/29/1998]
