Well-known roadside California restaurant with a Scandinavian flair (windmills, etc.). The location on I-5 in Santa Nella still thrives, as well as this one in Buellton. Their long-time symbols for splitting peas are the little guy, Pea-Wee, and the big guy with the killer mallet, Hap-Pea. Plywood photo op out front.
