DuBois, Pennsylvania - Tom Mix Festival and Museum

The spirit of Tom Mix is very much alive here in my (and his) hometown of DuBois, PA. September 17, as a matter of fact, was the final day of the Tom Mix festival in which people of all ages come out to gather and remember Tom Mix. The festival features Tom Mix movies, a Tom Mix museum and much more. Over the course of three days, the town gathers to enjoy games, great food, a car show and other related activities. Now you know that Tom Mix is far from forgotten. More than ever, he lives on here in Dubois. [Kevin Hummell, 09/23/2000]

Directions: Off exits 17 and 18 of Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania. The festival is held every year from sept. 15-17 on Long Avenue in Dubois.
