Visitor Tips and News About Kenly 95 Truck Stop Lighthouse
Right off 95...easy and worth it if you were going to stop for gas or a quick bite. Lighthouse just a facade...can't "go in," and smaller than we all expected. Truck inside the rest stop is a fun touch, but you can't climb in it or on rocks around it, so my kids were disappointed.[CJ, 07/14/2014]
One of the coolest truck stops I've been to. So many things in one store![Amanda Godwin, 06/22/2014]
This is the best truck stop ever! They have so many souvenirs and a cool truck to look at.[Sarah & Tom, 06/18/2012]

There's a relatively new replica lighthouse at the Kenly 95 Truck Stop, and this one's fairly impressive at 65 feet tall. Why a lighthouse at a truck stop? Well, their website says, "Just as the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse has become a symbol of North Carolina, Kenly 95 strives to be a symbol of hospitality for truckers and travelers alike."[Dean Jeffrey, 06/02/2010]
