Visitor Tips and News About City of Rocks - Bathtub Rock
Be sure to go to the Almo Outpost after climbing for the day. Delicious potatoes and fun decorations.[Karren, 06/24/2012]
My family and I have gone to the City of Rocks every year for as far back as I remember. For hikers, there are excellent trails and for the less athletic of us, there is plenty to see from your car, you can drive through start to finish. Drawback, kind of hard to find, but worth it. Don't miss Bathtub Rock, a naturally carved out bowl in a rock high up, the sun heats the water; not sure if you can still get in tub or not. Plenty of other neat looking rock formations.[Alisha Teeter, 06/05/2010]
