A Town Named Odd Caution if you have a city car - these inclines and narrow, extreme winding roads are almost terrifying to drive on! I almost got hit by a school bus that had these HUGE tires (4x4 style) barreling around a tight curve in the road. To get to the center of town, you have to drive to the top of mountain peaks and down to the flood areas below.
The locals were not entirely thrilled with our taking pictures of the area, but we sweet talked our way through. It is incredibly beautiful if you can brave the drive!

A Town Named Odd Odd is located in a hollow in the mountains of eastern West Virginia. Off I-77, take a windy drive through mountains until suddenly you are in Odd, facing the post office, which appears to be the sole business in "town." Mildly interesting mainly for its name.
It is located in the Ghent ski area, which is very beautiful.
