Portales, New Mexico: Personal Collection of Windmills
Bill Dalley spent 30 years collecting windmills from around Roosevelt County, erecting them in his breezy yard. He then donated his collection to the county, which in 2012-13 gradually moved all 80 windmills to the County Fairgrounds for permanent display.

- Roosevelt County Fairgrounds. North end of town. From US Hwy 70, turn west onto Lime St. at the gas station and "Welcome to Portales" billboard. The parking lot for the Fairgrounds will come up quickly on the right.
