Cheswick, Pennsylvania - Purple Elephant

Chessie, the Purple Elephant is the mascot for Cheswick Pools and Patios in Cheswick, and sits atop the building. S/he has been there as long as I can remember, with her trunk in the air. Chessie is mentioned in local radio commercials and is a real landmark. [Maureen Kowalski, 10/14/2000]

Address: Cheswick, PA
Directions: PA Turnpike to Exit 5(Allegheny Valley). Merge onto Business Route 28 North, and drive 2 miles at most. Chessie is on the left, sitting atop of the building.
