Holy Family Shrine This glass-enclosed church sits atop a hill overlooking Interstate 80. A cross towers above the highway and shrine. It is well worth a visit to this beautiful church to see the water dripping from the sculpture hanging from the ceiling in the Visitor's Center. The water collects in a pool under the sculpture and flows down a path, outside the center and to the shrine. The water continues to flow under the floor to the altar.
This is a beautiful setting for sitting, praying and feeling at peace. [Pat Heinen, 06/12/2011]
