The wolf pack at Wolf People numbers over 20. Some hang out in the gift shop. The rest are back in the woods. Feedings are three times a week; Wolf People offers tours of their habitat and a "picture pen." Closed by 2016.

We played with baby wolves! Super odd, but you shouldn't miss the pups in spring!

Wolf People

Wolf People was formed in 1993 to educate the public about wolves. The main attraction is their live wolves out back. They have a shop that sells wolf-themed gifts and clothes which support their education program.

Located on Hwy 95 approx. 12 miles south of Sandpoint, Idaho on the east side of the Hwy. From Couer d'Alene, go north approx. 35 miles a little past mile marker 461.

On the east side of US 95, either 10 miles south of the bridge just south of Sandpoint, or 30.5 miles north of I-90 exit 12. Just north of milepost 461. Look for the big hand-and-pawprint logo on the front of their gift shop.
