Spook Hill
We came and were disappointed. We could not get the illusion to work after trying four attempts. We left very unspooked.
[JT, 08/13/2020]I was born and raised in this town and still reside here. Many people come to Spook Hill, but leave disappointed because they cannot see the effect. As a youngster visiting this attraction many times, my parents taught me how to see the illusion. People look out of their windows and it still looks like the vehicle is going downhill. Here's the trick: look through your rear view mirror as you're rolling backward. That's what makes the illusion as if your vehicle is rolling uphill.
