Ocean City, Maryland - Muffler Man - PirateHe is still standing, disguised behind that silly pirate costume, but you can tell his empty hands (the sword is gone) long for a muffler. He still stands watch over the Jolly Roger "Amusement" Park. [Bryan W, 07/11/2009]
Ocean City, Maryland - Jolly Roger Muffler ManThe Jolly Roger Muffler Man has changed duds yet again, now sporting a lovely black vest and brown trousers. And his sword is gone - now he holds nothing. Still in front of the Jolly Roger Amusement Park. [Karol, 07/11/2009]
Ocean City, Maryland - Jolly Roger Muffler ManThe Jolly Roger Muffler man at the mini golf in Ocean City has changed clothes. Gee, that opens a lot of questions to me....where is his dressing room, for one. I don't know, I liked his old duds better. [MJ Sommer, 09/15/2007]
Ocean City, Maryland - Muffler Man - PirateI too was intrigued by the recent article in the Smithsonian. Your web
site is great. I recently spent the weekend in Ocean City, MD and located
the Pirate version. It is located at 30th Street & Coastal Highway. He
stands in front of the Jolly Rogers Amusement Park. [Bryan Musser, 10/28/2000]
Ocean City, Maryland - Muffler Man - PirateI can verify that in Ocean City, Maryland there is a Pirate with a Bunyan face, hands standard configuration holding a cutlass. He stands above the entrance to a small, cheezy entertainment complex called Jolly Roger Amusement Park at 30th St & Coastal Hwy. I've been staring at him for at least 20 years. He was still up last summer. [[Mike Tilford, 01/17/1999]
