Millville, New Jersey: World's Almost-First Vietnam MemorialA modest tribute to the Millville soldiers who fought in Vietnam was erected in 1977 by the local Jaycees. Believed to be the first monument of it's kind by its builders -- but there's at least one earlier monument elsewhere.

- Just west of town. From Hwy 49/Main St. turn south onto Riverside Drive at the Wawa Food Mart. The memorial will be about a hundred yards south, on the left, on the east bank of the Maurice River.
