Route 66 - End of the Trail
I could stay here forever!
[Vance Erwin, 07/26/2017]Route 66 - End of the Road
It surely is the end of the road. If you went any further you'd be off the pier and into the water. This is a typical pier boardwalk with all the usual rides - Ferris Wheel, Merry Go Round, Tilt A Whirl. Also all the usual snacks - Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy and Dogs on a Stick.
What is unusual is the Route 66 theme everywhere. All of the rides feature old time autos and all of the snacks have auto names such as Cadillac Cotton Candy and Edsel Egg Creams. You can buy ANY type of Route 66 souvenirs that you can think of. The end of the Route sign is prominently displayed on the pier.
