Don't worry about a map or times, just wander through the streets and you will see them all. The entire town seems to participate. Some really amazing scarecrows!

Almost 500 whimsical scarecrows are scattered around Cambria and San Simeon, with artwork featuring sharks, Oz, Snoopy, and windblown pedestrians. Minutes away from Hearst Castle, a large elephant seal rookery, and Piedras Blancas Light Station.

Every October, over one hundred scarecrows line Cambria streets, delighting young and old throughout the month. Visitors walk up and down Main Street taking pictures of these life-sized characters along sidewalks in front of Cambria's charming shops as well as Moonstone Beach Drive.
People come for the scarecrows but stay to enjoy the Harvest Festival at the Cambria Historical Museum on October 8-9 (2011). Admission is FREE. The town celebrates the scarecrows and the harvest with live music, good local BBQ, arts and crafts.
