As of Jan. 25, 2013, Ghost Bridge is no more. The county found it to be too much of a liability. Despite a movement to save this 100 year old bridge, the county decided to demolish it anyway. Goodbye Ghost Bridge. You will be missed.

Ghost Bridge Ghost Bridge is an old one-lane wood/metal bridge now closed to traffic. It got its name from all the rumors that plague it. It's been said that slaves were hanged here, KKK meetings and satanic rituals have occurred, cats have been hanged, and ghost sightings have occurred. I don't know about all the rumors, but I do know one person who found that his missing cat had been hanged from the bridge.
It is definitely spooky. Be careful though. It's an old bridge and has a big hole in the middle of it with tar and burn marks surrounding it. While I was there a week ago, a large limb fell from a tree and made a huge splash in the creek. I got spooked and fled.
