Held a sign advertising the Old Car Museum behind him in Round Top, TX. Big George fell and was damaged in a 2010 storm; sold and moved in Feb. 2016 to a Portland, Oregon collector promising a full restoration.

Big George, The Muffler Man is gone! My wife and I went to visit him 9-5-11 on a Labor Day road trip and Big George was gone! A local told us Sterling McCall had auctioned him off a few years ago. So sad!

[Chris, 11/11/2001]I thought I saw a Muffler Man here last weekend. However the person I was with would not slow down for further inspection. Round Top is in southern TX between Austin and Houston. It looks to be in very good condition. Any one else seen this one?
