Gearhart, Oregon - Cobra Gardens - Vague Recollections

I remember this from the early '60s when I was a kid. This guy used to give a guided tour past a bunch of glass cases that contained a variety of exotic snakes. When you're a kid, this is very cool. The highlight was stopping in front of the cobra case, where the cobra was just laying there, minding it's own business. Then this guy would tease the hell out of the cobra with a stick! The Cobra Gardens has been long gone and I always wondered what happened to the guy. [Dac Tama, 08/05/1998]
