St. Johnsbury, Vermont: World's Largest Can of Maple Syrup (Gone)
Next to Maple Groves of Vermont stood a large photo op can of maple syrup, with a scenic label illustration. Blown over in Dec. 2012, deemed too expensive to repair. Visitors can still drop in on the Maple House Museum.

Standing huge and beautiful, located on the green lawn of the Maple Grove Farm of Vermont Maple Syrup, is a very large can of maple syrup. From its shining cap to its winter scene painted on the front, it's a real gem in Saint Johnsbury.

Just called the Maple Grove gift shop -- they report that the big can of syrup was blown over in a storm in December, and damaged beyond repair. They have no plans to replace it, regardless of our omens about the impact on syrup can pilgrims. The Maple House Museum is still there.
