Artists Sarah McKen and Laurie Afseth made "Nature's Struggle" in 1995. It's under 6 feet tall. The artists intended to plant a garden around the hand, but too many people climbed on it.

- On the University of Saskatchewan campus, on the east bank of the river. Hwy 16 exit onto Preston Ave. Drive south one kilometer. Turn right on Perimeter Rd and onto campus. Drive 1.5 kilometers. Turn right onto Seminary Crescent. As the road turns left you'll see a field on the right with statues; the hand is at the south end, near the satellite dishes.

It's literally about 4 feet tall and not worth driving around the university campus to find it. I'd give it a 1 or 2 rating: fun if you're walking by, but not worth a family detour.
