Blue Diamond, Nevada: Bonnie Springs Haunted Ranch, Aging Wax Museum (Gone)

Touristy ranch included Old West buildings said to be haunted. Seasonal shows included gunfights and hangings. Decrepit wax museum was a highlight. Opened 1958, closed 2019 when it was sold to a real estate developer.

Bonnie Springs Ranch has a fake wild west town, which contains an old wax museum, which contains an Abraham Lincoln figure which performs his greatest speech for a buck.

The wax museum at Bonnie Springs Ranch depicts a fierce grizzly bear attack on a legendary mountain man in 1823.

We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered this little attraction a few miles from Red Rock Canyon (outside of Las Vegas). We were greeted by wild burros as we drove down Bonnie Springs Ranch Road. Then we came upon an old west town that includes a train, gun fights, hangings and other activities.

There is a small restaurant that has strangely decorated bathrooms. We enjoyed the small zoo that is made up of rescued animals, including wolves, kangaroo, llamas, bison, and various smaller animals. They have horses available for riding.
