World's Largest Geode, Heineman Winery Tours of the geode are available strictly as a package deal: $7 buys a tour of "Crystal Cave," a tour of the winery, and a chip redeemable for a sample cup of wine or grape juice. Visitors descend directly into the geode's center. It is not, as some might expect, a lengthy cavern tour. There's a brief explanation of the history of the cave, then you go right back up the steps you came down. Complete cave and winery tour was accomplished in less than half an hour. Look for prop cave animals nestled among the crystals.
