If you are from out of town, the directions given on the main page are overly complicated and can get you lost. Your best bet is to simply google "auditorium park Austin Texas" and it will take you right to the park. You will see Stevie down a walkway from the road. Another landmark to use in finding the statue: it is across the river directly in front of the Google building and the indeed.com building.

The statue cannot be seen from the street. There is a small (free) parking lot that runs parallel to South 1st Street that you can use. Just walk along the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail approximately the length of a city block and you'll see the statue right by the river.

The Stevie Ray Vaughan sculpture is located near the middle point of Auditorium Shores Park, along the walkway area overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Wonderful dog park and people fishing; it's always a pleasure to visit.
