Concrete Cowboy
Denver's Concrete Cowboy was still in good shape in June 2010. You will note that the building behind him has been demolished since the earlier photos were taken. The location is Federal Blvd (US 287), one block south of Interstate 76.

November 2006 - We heard via emails this statue has been targeted by Marlboro cigarettes and its ad agency as one of the answers in a trivia quiz/scavenger hunt for loyal smokers. The prize is ONE MILLION dollars. There are now questions about the statue's "real" location, since apparently ONE MILLION dollars might lead some folks to confuse or misdirect. Our advice: 1) Look at the aerial photo view and find the bow-legged shadow. 2) Don't call the RV Park office. 3) Leave the prize money for someone who needs to buy a new pair of lungs more than you do.
