Adamsville, Rhode Island - Birthplace of the Rhode Island Red Chicken A huge bronze plaque, attached to a an even larger corner
stone of a wall. A great illustration of the Rhode Island Red Rooster,
inscribed "The Rhode Island Red - To Commemorate the birthplace of the Rhode
Island Red breed of fowl which originated near this location." The plaque is dated at the bottom 1925. Well worth the visit for you chicken lovers out there! It's only minutes off
